On different news websites, the news that partial human remains have been found at a Florida park as part of Brian Laundrie.
The public attention to the missing woman case, which later turned out to be a homicide, has gotten more press than any missing person in recent history. In part fueled by the social media scrutiny the case has brought once Gabby Petito was first reported missing.
Internet sleuths began surfacing on TikTok and other social media platforms, offering theories about what happened to Gabby Petito. While people, including her family, were hoping to be found, her remains were found days after her fiance Brian Laundrie went missing.
Multiple media outlets reported that the Sarasota County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port, Florida, but the NBC News report said the partial human remains were found close to a backpack, according to the NBC source, consistent with items that could have been in Laundrie’s possession. The area in question was previously under water, according to the report.
